ERIC WALSH MATTHEW CATANESE
FOR PRESIDENT FOR VICE PRESIDENT

OUR MESSAGE

We have decided to set up this website as a way of showing you, the voters, what we stand for. Throughout our years as students at Niagara Catholic we have worked hard to bring new opportunities to the school. So, feel free to browse this website and sign our guestbook to let us know what you think of our views and if you have any new ideas.
-Eric Walsh and Matt Catanese

There's a Reason Why it's Called "Student" Council

We believe that the function of a Student Coucil is to represent the students in every aspect of their scholastic life. That is why if elected, one of our first actions will be to open up Student Council meetings to all students. We will also hold meetings that will be solely for the proposal of new ideas by the students. For a goverment like this to work, communication is key. If elected this website will be immediately reformatted to allow you, the students, to communicate your views with us, and allow us to inform you about the recent actions of the Student Coucil.
WE ARE NOT AFRAID TO CHALLENGE THE ADMINISTRATION AND LET THEM KNOW WHEN THEY'RE WRONG.
Finally, we will allow for greater input from the underclassmen than has existed in years past. You're going to be the ones running this school in the next few years.
WE WANT TO GIVE YOU A CHANCE THAT WE NEVER HAD AND ALLOW YOU TO FIGHT FOR THE THINGS YOU BELIEVE THIS SCHOOL SHOULD BE.

A NEW TRADITION

Since you go to Niagara Catholic, we're pretty sure that you're heard the word "Tradition" thrown around on a regular basis. We believe in the revival of old traditions as well as the beginning of new ones. One way this would be done is by proposing that the Senior hallway (aka The Cave) be brought back.
BY BRINGING THESE CHANGES ABOUT USING STUDENT COUNCIL, WE WILL BE ABLE TO ENSURE THAT THESE TRADITIONS WILL BE ENJOYED BY BOTH CURRENT STUDENTS, AS WELL AS STUDENTS IN THE YEARS TO COME.

As you can see, we both always wind up having a pretty good time at the school functions, but that doesn't mean that they're not in need of some improvement. We've heard what people have been saying.
ONE THING WE CAN PROMISE IS BETTER ACTIVITIES, BETTER DANCES, AND MORE EXCITING PEP RALLIES.

Well that's all we have to say for now. We want to take this opportunity to thank you for reading what we have to say and we hope you will let us know what you think by e-mailing us or signing our guestbook.

I would like to dedicate this page to the 3 girls who have helped me through some of my toughest times and inspired me to do something I truly believe in, Kiley Bax, Laura Hare, and Jennifer Riccuiti. -Eric Walsh
